Finding the joy in life has not been an easy thing - especially in the past year with COVID lockdowns around the world. Finding joy is one of the reasons I’m on a mission to bring people together to experience gratitude. In these 1-hour Gratitude Encounters, we explore, experience, and share ideas and practices to make gratitude a way of life.

Gratitude shifts your focus away from lack and scarcity, and towards the gifts and benefits in life. Focusing on a painful memory or thought brings about elevated heart-rate and tension. But when you focus on something that brings you joy, you feel the opposite physiological effects in your body, such as sensations of lightness, peace, and happiness. 

Why not try this out for yourself? Start small by beginning or ending your day by thinking of 3 things that you are grateful for in your life. Try this for a week - set an alarm to remind you and see how you feel at the end of the week.
